Thay Are Here!

Due to the fact that the VSB Subtitling Plug-in project had been completed. The Studio Glenn Subtitling Group has disbanded until it is further needed. I have decided to release any translations that are not already bound to any external clients. These scripts are timed translations of anime that the group made for the testing of the VSB subtitling plug-in and will soon be freely downloadable to the general public for review and study from this page. I think that these scripts will be a good source for anime fans, translators, film students, and actors that work in, or inspire to work in voice acting anime for dubbing.

Side notes and comments about characters will be included if available. Cue time, duration, character, and dialog will be the line by line layout for the script itself. All files will be in pdf format for easy reading. Use of the scripts by other companies will be regulated on a case by case bases, but individuals can use them freely solely for reference only. No images will be included, unless I manage to get permission from the copyright holders (that is very unlikely).

Titles under consideration for release are:

  • Ah! My Goddess Movie - Done by myself with some help.
  • Escaflone - The Movie - Also done by myself with some help.
  • Nedesco Prince of Darkness - tentatively.
  • Utena - The Movie - tentatively.

The first script to be appearing will be Ah! My Goddess Movie. Because of limited time and the high demand. I will release the script in chapters at first. Then, after the last chapter I will release the complete script.

Adapting and adding notes take allot of my time. So I thought that this would be the best way to release it. Look here for the links to the scripts. You will be asked to fill a questionare for my records. Here it is! Enjoy!

Ah! My Goddess - The Movie

These translations are original works based solely on the dialog from the Japanese screenplays of the films. They are at best, an English interpretation of the movie or show, and are not original screenplays of the movie. We make every effort to be as acturate as posable and give credit to all involved parties that wish to be included. Any resemblance to any other translations or any other original stories is purely consequential.

Studio Glenn and D Glenn Entertainment LLC. are not liable in any way for any use or misuse of this material by anyone. If however, it is found that the use of this material is used in fraudulent activities (like piracy), Studio Glenn will forward any information to the torted party for investigation.

Studio Glenn will consider any paid projects from media holders that have legal rights to the media they wish to have translated in a case by case bases, but will not translate any (so called) gray market media, unless the client involved has obtained prior written permission from the original copyright holder to do so.

D Glenn.
