This is a model of the U.S. ARMY Striker ICV or M1126 as it is called in Army jargon. This model is about the most detailed models that I have ever made for simulation. In most simulators, you don't have to go into very much detail. But for the Man in the Loop type of simulation, you are more likely to have grater close-up interaction with other objects. In this case, the operator can walk up to this model, open the hatch and walk in. So detail is an issue. This model is accurate almost to the rivets. The only thing that was changed was some of the detail was removed at the request of the client. This model is the most detailed for simulation, but I have the elements to add even more detail later on for picture and film rendering. There is also an interior version that I hope to show here to, but for now you can enjoy this shot.
This is the head for the Future Combat Solider figure that I have been working on for use in ARMY Infantry Simulation. The camouflage was created using some of the surface effects in LightWave. It was later converted to a baked image and applied as a UV texture. The sensor pods that look like ears also act as a light source. It was made using a picture of a Lexus headlight that was distorted and mirrored to look like a sensor array. The Bio Filter was made using a mesh graphic that I made up and then adding a flat inner bevel bordered with a round outer bevel that was textured with the camo pattern I created. The neck is spouse to be a flexible black membrane that attaches the helmet to the bodysute. This configuration was a composite of other concept drawings and other military specifications I got from other sources.

This is a model of the Yamaha micro helicopter that is used as a crop duster in Japan. It run autonomous as it sprays the crops that are in narrow areas and avoiding spraying homes, roads, cars, etc. It is also under experimentation by the ARMY as a unmanned reconnaissance vehicle. This model that I did on my spare time after I saw the real thing do it's tricks at a ARMY post in Alabama. It is rigged for propeller motion and I added to the blade blur while I was playing with a photo editor called the Gimp. This was done from photos and measurements that I managed to get on the net.

And Now A Touch of Whimsy: This model is a modification of the head piece from the Future Combat Solider figure above. It has a square grill and some day, I will build the body for it.

Enjoy!

To the Disney Lawyers: It's a Joke, that's all! It's in good taste.

Aurora Princess of Light: This is a 3D figure model of the main character of my animation project. She is dressed in just one of many costumes - I'll add some more figures here soon.

Enjoy!

This logo was done for Advanced Interactive Systems infantry virtual combat simulator called SVS. This was designed to give the simulator a new look to celebrate their latest software release of the product. This is a fully animate able 3D logo that can later be used for promotional It was created using Lightwave 7.5c in two parts: the circle and the text. I will have a logo floating in an animation that I hope to be completed soon.
